Altraz 1mg tablets are taken alone or with other treatment during the treatment process of radiation or surgery under the breast cancer treatment. This medicine is prescribed for early breast cancer in postmenopausal women. These tablets are also used in the treatment of advanced breast cancer that generally spreads within the breast or from other parts of the body. Altraz 1mg tablet provides relieves from the symptoms like breast lumps, discharge of blood from the nipple, or shape or texture change during breast cancer.
How does it work?
Altraz 1mg tablet contains anastrozole as an active ingredient which is an aromatase inhibitor. This medicine works by lowering the amount of estrogen which is a natural hormone produced in the body of a female. when the estrogen hormone decreases due to the mechanism and drug treatment it also brings a reduction in the growth of cancer cells which generally requires estrogen for their growth.
The dose of Altraz 1mg tablets depends on the type of treatment purpose for what you are taking it for and a health care expert can only suggest the right amount of dose and taking duration for the treatment. These tablets are swollen hole in one go with water and should not be chewed or crushed. The medication of this drug can be recommended for a long period of treatment and it should be taken regularly. Altraz 1mg should not be taken if the patient has an allergy to anastrozole, and aromatase inhibitors, or another inactive ingredient of this drug. What if you forget to take Altraz 1mg tablet?
If you miss a dose of Altraz tablet during the treatment course, you should take it as soon as possible and Do not take the dose if it’s time for the next dose and continue to your regular schedule doses. Avoid a double dose of this drug and do not take two-dose at the same time.
The use of this medicine during pregnancy is contraindicated in women and should only take under the supervision of a doctor and with caution if suffering from kidney or liver problems.
